Promoting sustainable use of underutilized lands for bioenergy production through a web-based platform for europe

First meeting of the Working group for the Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil regions in Ukraine

The online meeting of the BIOPLAT-EU working group will present the results of identification in Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil oblasts of lands that have not been used for agriculture for more than 5 years and could potentially be used for energy crops growing and further energy/fuel production. It is planned to discuss with local stakeholders of Khmelnytskyi and Ternopil regions potential bioenergy value chains and barriers to the implementation of such bioenergy projects.
